Cultural Event

Traditionally, ChEIS has included a cultural show highlighting traditions from Durango and Mexico.

This event is scheduled for Monday afternoon, and the program includes:

ChemE Rally

This was the first year that an academic rally took place. At each station, students were given a physical challenge and an academic question. A prize of MX$ 2,000 was awarded to the winning team.

Sport Competitions

Two short tournaments, featuring Soccer and Voley-Ball. These competitions were organized jointly by SEIMIQ and the ChEIS Committee. A prize of MX$ 800 was awarded to the winning team, and MX$ 200 to the second place in each sport.

Grand Dinner and Dancing

A highlight of the week, this Gala Dancing has become a traditional celebration in ChEIS. It will take place in the Las Palmas Room which is also located in the Hacienda El Paraíso, and it is scheduled for Thursday night, beginning at 9:00 PM.
